Two of my good friends and fellow artists, Joe Claus and Danny Sanchez, currently have new work exhibiting. Joe’s work is up @ Kaleid Gallery in downtown San Jose located at 88 South First St. and Danny’s work is up through the 19th of August @ Age Song Gallery (580 Hayes & Laguna) and Market Street Gallery (1554 Market btw Van Ness & Franklin) in S.F. Joe’s work is titled My Neighbors and is a photographic tribute to the hard working small business owners in the Silicon Valley.

Danny’s work is part of the 5th annual altered Barbie show and features his photography depicting celebrity Barbies at their finest. Here is a quote I pulled about the show: Out of the Box: Reclaiming and Recycling Barbie into eco-friendly Art. 75 artists and vendors showcase their visions and creations for saving the planet with a wide range of Barbie & Ken art and re-usable products that includes mixed-media, painting, printmaking, photography, quilts, & 3D Barbies, with video, performance and film.
